Introducing: Client Portals to Make Your Lives Easier!

Since opening our doors in 2019, the mission at Moncur Consulting has been to provide not only high-quality translation, transcreation and localization services but also an exceptional level of service to our clients. We want to make it easy for you, so you can focus on what you do best and leave the rest to us.

To make managing your translation, transcreation and localization projects as seamless and transparent as possible, I am thrilled to introduce the Moncur Consulting Client Portal!

Whether you are new here or a long-time client looking to maximize your use of the platform, here is a complete guide to all the features and views available at your fingertips.

Accessing the Client Portal

When we create a portal for a client, we send out invitations to each user. Please follow this invitation to create a free Airtable.com account. If you do not have an invitations, please reach out via Email.

  • Login to Airtable.com – you will need access and a free account
  • Click on [Company] Client Portal – under Shared with you

Welcome to Your Client Portal!

The core of our Client Portal is built to keep you informed. It is structured to provide everything from high-level summaries to granular project details and billing, all in one place.

Project Overview

Your starting point. Get a quick, at-a-glance summary of all your currently active projects:

  • Project Timeline of all currently ongoing projects, spanning the calendar from quote request date to due date
  • Active Projects, sorted by quote stage, project status, and translation stage. This also shows the main project contact at your organization, requested languages, project scope, and our internal job number.
  • Completed & Inactive Projects for historical record
  • Projects by Requester, grouped by the person at your organization who requested the project

We use the following Stages and Statuses:

  • Quote Stage
    • Bidding means we are working on an estimate
    • Pending means we submitted an estimate, and it’s pending approval with you
    • Won means we’ve received approval to launch and the project is in progress
  • Project Status
    • Prepare would be estimating or sourcing teams
    • In Progress means we are working actively on the job
    • In Progress w/ client means that it is likely with your team or your client, e.g. for linguistic or layout review
  • Translation Stage
    • This is the most detailed status description for a project.
All Projects

If you’re more of a spreadsheet kind of person, this is a good place to see and filter projects. Click on the tabs to see each view. You can easily search, sort, and filter every project by specific criteria:

  • Status: Active, Completed, All
  • Project Requester (if applicable)
  • Project Year
Project Details

This view is by far my favorite! It provides in-depth specifications and timelines for each active project and is by far my favorite for getting comprehensive information about a project.

You can select any active project from the drop-down list or browse through the active projects with the Previous and Next buttons. You can also return to your Client Portal Home Page or Request a New Project:

Within each project detail view, you can see the following information and more:

  • Due Dates and Timelines
  • Status
  • Estimate and Invoice links
  • Languages and Services
  • Who handles Client Review and Production
  • Production Formats, Instructions, and Delivery Specs
  • Target Audience
  • Creative Brief
  • Instructions and Notes
Accounting

This section houses your billing information, ensuring you always have quick access to estimates, invoices, and associated PO numbers. Projects are grouped by Invoice Status:

  • Not ready
  • Invoiced
  • Paid
New Request: Streamlined Requests & File Sharing

Kicking off a new translation project should be completely effortless. The New Request section is designed to get things moving without the email back-and-forth:

  • Submit a new project request: A dedicated quote request form to get your next project into the pipeline immediately. Learn how to complete this form here.
  • File transfer via Google Drive: A secure, dedicated client folder to share your source files, heavy design assets, or reference materials.
Dedicated Resources & Expertise

Beyond project tracking, the Client Portal serves as a resource center to help you get the absolute most out of your partnership with us.

  • Process, timelines & tips: Helpful information about working with us, including a detailed description of our process, rough timelines, and smart authoring tips.
  • Advertising & Marketing Translations: A link to the Marketing Transcreations page on our website.
